Dates and test centres will be allotted on “first come first served” basis. Actual allotment, however, will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city. The exam is usually held on two days, but last year it was held on one day. The second day was kept reserved in case of any unforeseen situation.
Aspirants must note that once selected, the exam centre or exam time cannot be changed. Thus they should make the selection carefully and in case they don’t get their desired exam centre or time, must make appropriate arrangement.
How to Prepare for CMAT 2019?
If you have appeared for CAT, IIFT or any other management course admission test and scored good marks, cracking CMAT will not be difficult at all.
Question asked in CMAT exams are easier when compared with CAT questions. Therefore preparing for Data Interpretation, Quant and Reasoning sections become quite hassle-free. If you want to score well in a section of General Awareness try reading newspapers and magazines on current affairs. Also, while attempting a question in CMAT 2019 try to read the question twice and carefully answer it.
Since there is still 1 year left for the exam, prepare thoroughly and understand the concepts in detail. Try to finish the syllabus by the end of October so that you have sufficient time to revise and take a mock test. If needed join some good coaching institute and clear your concepts. If you want to opt for section wise tests and get a good hold on concepts you are weak at. In no time it will be easy to solve the papers.
Another thing you can do is go for solving previous year question papers. This will help in understanding the exam patterns and types of questions being asked in the exam. I would also suggest that you get a good grip on time management and make a timetable. This is one of the biggest factors for cracking CMAT 2019.
