CAT cut offs for admission to the IIMs range between 95-100 percentile for all categories. For General category students the CAT 2022 cut off percentile for top IIMs is estimated to be around 98-100 percentile.
The cut offs could be lower for Reserved category students. For new and baby IIMs, the CAT cut offs will be comparatively lower for all categories.
The CAT cut offs 2021 for all IIMs were in the range of 90 to 100 percentile. The cut offs did not fall in comparison to the previous year because the exam was of the same difficulty level in both 2022 and 2023.

For admission into any IIMs or top MBA colleges in India, the final CAT cut off 2022 will be minimum 90 percentile. CAT cut offs remain high (99+ percentile) for top IIMs such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow and IIM Kozhikode.
In Tier 2 colleges, CAT cut offs are usually around 80 percentile and above and in Tier 3 colleges the CAT cut offs are usually fixed at 60 percentile and above. CAT 2023 cut offs are expected to remain in the same range for these colleges.
