Examination analysis for Common Management Aptitude Test:

Common Management Aptitude Test Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation Analysis

Arithmetic and Number System largely dominated this section with over 50% of questions being asked from these two topics. About 3 to 4 questions were from Geometry and Mensuration and rest of QT questions were from Algebra. There was one DI question based on Pie Chart. The difficulty level of the section was easy to moderate. There were a couple of tricky questions that could have posed some problems. Common Management Aptitude Test Logical Reasoning Analysis

This section had easy to moderate questions from Verbal as well as Analytical Reasoning. However, Analytical Reasoning heavily dominated the section with 4 questions from Verbal Reasoning. Analytical questions were from an array of topics viz. grouping, distribution, arrangement, comparison, coding/decoding, clock and calendar, cube, sequence etc. The section was a little time-consuming. An attempt of around 20-22 questions in this section would be considered a good attempt.

Common Management Aptitude Test Language Comprehension Analysis

There were four passages – one passage had 6 questions and the rest three 3 questions each. With the exception of one passage, the rest were easy to read and comprehend. Except a couple of questions, most of the questions were straight forward and could be answered easily. However, the questions that followed the passages were a little difficult. Areas covered under Verbal ability questions were para jumble, idiom/phrase, FIJ (fact, inference and judgment), antonym and synonym and cloze. The break-up of questions from this section was very similar to those of the previous Common Management Aptitude Test exams. About 6-7 questions were based on current affairs and one could have attempted 3-4 questions quite easily if one reads the newspaper or listens to the news regularly. Static GK figured prominently with questions ranging from Science, Awards, and Polity etc. An attempt of around 18-20 questions would be considered good.
