Symbiosis International University

Symbiosis International University was Started By Dr. SB Mazumdar in the Year 1971. He was working as a Rector in a boys’ Hostel. It was afternoon on a hot day.

He was standing in front of a window of his house looking at the 1^st hostel block, in which he was a rector. A strange thing happened.

A girl walked up to the window of the boy’s hostel room, quickly handed over something, and disappeared.

his curiosity was aroused and he kept watching that girl walking up to the window day after day and suspected her, like any other rector would, that there is something wrong going on between these students.

So one day, he planned and walked up to the door of that student and knocked.

When the door opened, he saw a Mauritian student Beehary sleeping on the bed.

His face was yellow and his eyes seemed to have drowned low. Dr. Mazumdar was stunned and puzzled.

When he turned to the boy for an explanation, the boy said, “Sir, I have an attack of jaundice and I’m feeling extremely weak.

I cannot stand up, nor walk a few steps.

A girl who belongs to the country brings me food. However, since ladies are not allowed to enter the boy’s hostel, she hands over the lunch box through the window.”

It wasn’t the type of ‘affair’ he had never expected.
