Common Admission Test or popularly recognized as C.A.T is the most popular management entrance exam of the country. The C.A.T is a computer-based test for admission in a graduate management program. It is the gateway to 20 IIMs and other top B-schools. C.A.T is conducted every year by one of the older IIMs on a rotational basis. In 2018, over 2.41 lakh candidates competed for 12,411 seats with 11 students scoring 100 percentile.
The Common Admission Test (C.A.T) is a computer-based test for admission in a graduate management program. The test scores a candidate on the basis of Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI), and Logical Reasoning (LR). The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs.
