- 85 percent seats in all programmes are filled through merit/ general category while 5 percent seats are filled through ESCS (Economically & Socially Challenged Students) Category – (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Minority Communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians/Parsis & Jains)) to bring social diversity in the class.

BIMTECH Greater Noida: Admission Eligibility
- MTECH eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- One of the most important points in BI.MTECH Admi-ssion Eligibility criteria is that apart from a recognized graduate degree, the candidate should be registered for CAT 2019/XAT 2020 or GMAT 2019-20 and must score well to become eligible for P.G.D.M and P.G.D.M (IB) admis-sion.

- Along with CAT and XAT exam scores, CMAT 2020 and MAT 2019-20 scores are also accepted for admis-sion to P.G.D.M (Retail Manage-ment) and P.G.D.M (Insurance Business Manage-ment) programs
- If the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence to determine P.G.D.M adm-ission eligibility would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where the bachelor’s degree is obtained. In case the institution/university does not have any scheme for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by B.IMTECH by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant by 100 to confirm the Ad-mission eligibility of the candidate.

- A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for B.IMTECH Adm-ission 2020.
- It is mandatory for a final year student, who is provisionally considered eligible by B.IMTECH Greater Noi-da and offered admi-ssion, to submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor’s degree examination latest by October 31, 2020.

BIMTECH Shortlisting Criteria
The first part of B.IMTECH Adm-ission criteria is the shortlisting criteria before final selection round. B.IMTECH will shortlist the candidates in two phases – Early Profile Based shortlisting for PI-WAT in December 2019 and second in February 2020 after exam result declaration. The first shortlisting was for Applicants who applied on or before December 2, 2019 and second shortlisting is for the candidates who apply till March 10, 2020.

- IMTECH selection criteria after final adm-ission round award judiciously divided weightages to Entrance exam score; Academics; Work Experience; Personal Interview; Writing Ability Test; Gender Diversity; to students from specified regions and to Minority candidates.
- The final selection merit list for admi-ssion is prepared on the basis of past academic profile, CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score as applicable for different programmes, performance in selection process, work experience if any and social profile to bring diversity and inclusiveness in the selection process.
