The Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB) is located in the educational hub of Pune, in Maharashtra. It was established back in the year 2003, then known as the Indian Centre for International Business (ICIB). The arch- educationist Dr. A Balasubramanian was behind the establishment of this institute under the umbrella of the Shri Balaji Society (SBS). The BIIB is located in the Tathawade block of Chinchri- Pimpwad town, which forms part of the Pune district. The total campus area of the complex is worth about sixteen acres of land. Some of the general course colleges of the Shri Balaji Society are affiliated to the UGC (University Grants Commission)- approved Savitri Phule Pune University. The courses at the BIIB however, are ratified by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), as it is now an autonomous institution.
