N.M.A.T Eligibility Criteria 2024

The exam conducting authority has specified the following eligibility criteria for N.M.A.T 2021. All the management aspirants should go through the eligibility requirements before applying for the examination.

• Graduate degree must be completed under 10+2+3 or 4 years education pattern from any stream.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate is required in the final year of graduation.
• Candidates awaiting results or appearing in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for N.M.A.T 2019. Admi-ssion is granted on provisional basis till graduation mark sheets and certificate of qualifying the examination are submitted.

Additionally, candidates should check the eligibility criteria of N.M.A.T participating colleges individually before registering for the examination. They are required to select five institutes of their preference for adm-ission while applying and those institutes can have different eligibility criteria for admis-sion.

N.M.A.T selection process, comprising GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds, are organized individually by each institute accepting N.M.A.T sco-re, for shortlisted candidates. 1’st Stage: N.M.A.T Exam

The first stage in the selection process is qualifying the N.M.A.T exam conducted in online mode. The online paper has three sections Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.

The duration of the test is 2 hours and a total of 120 MCQs are asked in the exam. The table below indicates the questions distribution and time allocated for each section.

2’nd Stage: GD – PI Round

The next stage in the N.M.A.T selection process is the GD & PI round. This is conducted at the individual level for all the candidates shortlisted based on N.M.A.T sco-re. Candidates must meet the cut off sco-re stipulated by the exam conducting authority.

The participating institute may also decide to conduct WAT (Writing Ability Test) or Case Discussion (CD) round instead of the conventional GD round. The decison of final admis-sion is usually based on the combined performance in N.M.A.T online test and GD – PI round.

N.M.A.T 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

• Report to the allotted exam centre for N.M.A.T by GMAC 2024 at least an hour before the exam begins.
• Carry N.M.A.T 2024 admit card as well as one valid photo ID (original as well as one copy) to the venue
• Valid photo IDs include Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN card, Driving License and Debit Card/Credit Card (with signature of candidate)
• Do not carry any prohibited electronic items, study material or mobile phones as these items are not allowed in the exam centres
• M.A.T admit card contains important instructions for the exam day and test centre. Don’t forget to carefully go through the instructions.
