SIBM Bangalore: Eligibility Criteria

  • In order to take admi-ssion to SIBM’s M.B.A Programme, candidates should a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for SC/ ST).
  • Final year students can also apply, however their admi-ssion will be subjected to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for SC/ ST) at the time of admis-sion.
  • Candidates who have completed their Graduation from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The admi-ssion procedure of TAPMI goes through the following stages, where candidates need to fulfill every requirement in order to get admis-sion to PGDM Program.

Stage I: M.B.A Entrance Exams

The first criteria to take admis-sion to SIBM’s M.B.A Program is to qualify in the SNAP Exam. Based on the cutoff set by the authorized body, candidates are shortlisted for the next round.

Stage 2: Admi-ssions Process

In the third stage, shortlisted candidates are called for Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

  1. Written Ability Test (WAT): The WAT is conducted by SIBM B’lore to judge written communication skills of prospective students. The test is also conducted to evaluate candidate’s articulation and grammatical skills.

  1. Group Discussions (GD): The GD round is conducted to evaluate candidate’s interpersonal and presentation skills. This is the round where candidates need to interact well within a group. In this round, candidates are judged upon their problem solving skills, leadership skills and persuasion skills.
  2. Personal Interview (PI): This round is conducted to evaluate candidates self management skills and his leadership and communication skills.
